Transnet Young Professionals Training Programme

The YPT programme will run for 2 years in order to give young South African talent work exposure. This program will create opportunities for young talented individuals to grow, connect nationwide.

Young Professional-In-Training

Transnet Freight Rail offers an excellent platform to young; vibrant; enthusiastic graduates who are between the ages of 18-35 to enter into a two-year graduate development programme within various functional areas respectively to acquire developmental and working experience.

Young Professional-In-Training programme within Human Resources Department

Transnet Pipelines offers opportunities for young professionals/graduates of Universities or Universities of Technology, between 18 and 35 years on a Young Professional-In-Training programme.

Graduates who have recently qualified in the following streams are required:

  • BA HR, or
  • Bcom Management 
  • Data Analytics
  • Any HRIS Qualification
  • Accounting

Young Professional-In-Training programme within Finance Risk Control and Governance

Graduates who have recently qualified in the following streams are required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce

Young Professional-In-Training programme within Strategy and Commercial

Graduates who have recently qualified in the following streams are required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Stats

HOW TO APPLY

This is a two year structured development programme aiming at providing workplace exposure to the young professional/graduates to gain work experience

There is an assessment after every six months until the end of the programme.

NB. Candidate must meet the minimum inherent health requirements of the job.
